UW Iraq work profiled in Grow Magazine

Dr. Mutlu Ozdogan, assistant professor in forest and wildlife ecology and a scientist with the Nelson Institute’s Center for Sustainability and the Global Environment, and Nic Jelinski, a former UW student and current member of the U.S. Army’s 450th Civil Affairs Battalion, recently teamed up on a project to better understand how Iraqi cropland is changing and water is being used.  Check out the full article in the online version of Grow Magazine.
